For this project, our client sought to transform her home into a space that felt both edgy and sophisticated. The design challenges included a cold, uninviting color palette, an outdated railing, lackluster kitchen cabinetry and backsplash, and a wet bar in need of a contemporary update. To bring her vision to life, we collaborated closely with the client to identify key priorities and develop a comprehensive design plan. This included creating a material mood board, a vibe board, and photorealistic renderings to ensure every detail aligned with her style. We also curated furniture and decor to enhance the overall aesthetic. By blending the client’s unique style with our design expertise, we were able to transform her space into a modern, sophisticated home that truly reflects her personality and taste.
To address these issues, we made a series of impactful updates throughout the space. The hallway was refreshed with a coat of paint and the addition of solid oak wall paneling, bringing warmth and texture to the entryway. The wet bar was transformed with new oak shelving, a sleek countertop, and a stylish tiled backsplash, creating a modern focal point for entertaining. In the kitchen, we painted the cabinetry to give it a fresh look and updated the backsplash to better suit the client’s tastes. To replace the outdated railing, we custom fabricated a more modern, edgy design that aligned with the client’s vision. We also painted the beams to extend the space and curated a collection of light fixtures, rugs, and decor to bring a cohesive, sophisticated feel to the entire home.
